How do I update my Mac to macOS 10.13?

Are you asking about 10.13.* (High Sierra), or 13.* (Ventura)?

As far as I know, any Mac that is compatible with macOS 10.12 (Sierra) is also compatible with macOS 10.13 (High Sierra). High Sierra is very old, and no longer supported by vendors like Microsoft and Adobe.

If your 11" MacBook Air has a model year of

• 2010 or 2011 – You can upgrade to High Sierra, but no further.
• 2012 – You can upgrade to Catalina, but no further
• 2013 or 2014 – You can upgrade to Big Sur, but no further
• 2015 – You can upgrade to Monterey, but no further

I do not believe that any 11" MacBook Air can upgrade to Ventura or higher.

Back up your data, check the application compatibility table, click here, and then on the download link for a newer OS.

Catalina and above won't run 32-bit software and split the functions of iTunes up; if you choose one of them, use Go64 as well.
