Suddenly started receiving notices of unsolicited downloads of variety of .dms files. Ignore or worry ?

macOS 14.1.1 ( 23B81 ) was released Nov 7, 2023


By virtue of this, the computer, is lagging way behind

No and No. Using FireFox, and notifications appear as pop-up in middle of of a document.

They all seem to be from something called onetag-sys.com, which appears to be an advertising platform possibly associated with Linked In.

I've deleted them all so far, and hope they stop,
