Is there a way to pin the search bar to the top of my Apple Music playlists on iMac?

Is there any way to pin the search bar to the top of the playlists? This used to be the way it was, but my very long playlist lists constantly has to be scrolled up and up and up to get back to the search field. This is not a good UX at all. Perhaps a different 'skin' for app?

Peter,

For searching within your own library, try using the Filter Field instead of the search bar. Most users find it to be more well-behaved. You can enable it via View > Show Filter Field.

This worked great for my library and in particular the playlist search I had in mind. I'll be using it, so thank you!

It goes away when we get to looking for music in the Apple Music section. Perhaps that's a separate issue, but I. also want to add items from Apple Music to a gigantic list of playlists and I find that very awkward to do, it loses track of which playlist I have been using when I'm looking at, for instance, and artist or album. The only time it suggests recent playlists is for a specific song I'm playing and that's helpful but why isn't it consistent throughout the interface?

Honestly, I have no idea if there’s a way to upload anything directly to Apple Music — probably not without jumping through some flaming hoops. But here’s the magic: there are these Apple Music reps (legit superheroes — call them gods if you want) who somehow fixed my problem from across the planet.

I’m in Sweden, they were in the States, and boom — issue solved without even saying a word to me. It was like tech telepathy. And the best part? They didn’t just fix it — they sent me a killer playlist so I could vibe my way into summer like a main character.

on that note, I want to think whoever that wonderful person is that solve my issue

And I also want to thank AI for making sure my Brooklyn accent doesn’t stand out in this review. Have a great day.
