Why does my new Apple Watch Series 8 won't turn on or charge?

I brought a apple watch series 8 45mm stainless steel version. It is manufactured in 10/22, I purchased it in 2025 and when in unbox and open the watch and it doesn’t charge. It showing the apple logo and doesn’t start. I’m very disappointed I don’t know what to do. Whether i replace the battery to use it or not. I don’t want to replace it. Please give a comment on this issue

Did you charge it at least for 30min, using the original USB cable and at least a 20W Apple power adapter?

Did you buy the watch from an Authorised Apple Reseller?

If the watch has been sitting 3 years in it's box, the battery is probably damaged.

Did you check the return policy of the Apple Reseller? Or did you buy the watch in an official Apple Store?

I brought from oman , it is unboxed for almost 3 years. It is manufactured in 10/2022. I got it in pretty good price. But I contacted apple they said it will cover on warranty, but apple store in oman doesn’t doing a check on my device. Staffs are very rude

Where, exactly, did you buy it? That model was discontinued in September of 2023.

What if I could get battery replacement at apple service centre. It is possible right. But the person who is in charge at the service centre is very rude and he said he won’t give a new one. I brought this watch yesterday and it was my dream to buy a apple watch

Yes, i charged it for almost 3 hours and doesn’t turn on . It showing the apple logo and then it will fade away. Yes I purchased through a Apple authorised seller.
