Why doesn't Apple Music pause when receiving incoming calls?

When I am playing music stored on my phone with Apple Music via Airplay to my HiFi and I get a phone call the music does not pause. If I am using a third party app like Youtube and playing via Airplay it does.

Why doesn't it pause with Apple Music? How do I make it pause when using Apple Music?

It's really annoying and should be a basic setting but I can't find an option for this (pausing the Apple Music app) automatically, anywhere.

I have found when searching this query online that many people have asked and there is no suitable response, and this has been going on for years!!. Not good enough Apple, my phones' primary purpose is to be a phone and therefore this functionality should take priority over all other functionality.
