What should I do if macOS Sonoma won’t finish installing on MacBook Air?

Sonoma had been installing for almost 24 hours. I shut down my MacBook Air. When I started up I was taken to the recovery screen. When I try to reinstall it says it’s not connected to internet. Where do I go from here.

I can't install OS X on my MacBook I have Macbook air 2015. Trying to install os x. On the recovery mode it is saying "OS X can't be reinstalled because you aren't connected to the Internet. If you connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi, use the menu with the Wi-Fi icon to select your network. Otherwise, plug in an Ethernet cable." The wifi icon is disabled. I restart it several times .. not working Tried to recover from USB drive it could not read it. How should I proceed? Thanks [Re-titled by Moderator]

recovery mode my macbook is stuck in recovery mode and i am trying to reinstall my mac os but its not showing wifi option so what can i do?

If you cannot connect to internet via wifi then you would need to use an ethernet cable. You would need a USB to ethernet adapter then connect directly to your router.
