How can I fix overlapping app displays on my MacBook Air screen?

Today I was using my laptop. When all of sudden I saw an issue in the display where I was able to see other apps which were behind the app I have having to the front. When I opened the Home Screen/ App drawer. I could see the display of a closed pdf. all those prints were on the screen.

Bug or Setting? Has anyone else seen this and is it a bug or a setting that needs adjusting? It's very difficult to describe. I have a MacBook Pro with and external display attached. Sometimes if I drag an app from the MacBook to the external display it "rotates" over so it looks like an app does when it's docked to the side in stage manager. It then won't stick to the external display and returns to the MacBook display. Sometimes I can get it to drag ok by doing random things like double clicking on the external display background or changing to another screen (there's no particular pattern I've found that works every time). Other times I have to close the app and reopen it. I hope that all makes sense. Has anybody any idea what's going on?

Weird display issue I have a M1 Mac Mini 12.5.1 with 2 Dell 2415 displays. Recently the image on my displays has occasionally zoomed in. It has happened when I am working on a Keynote presentation with the Keynote window at almost full screen. Suddenly the image will enlarge so that the Keynote window spreads across both screens with about 2 in. of the window in the right display. Of course the bottom of the window is no longer accessible as you can't move a window above the tool bar. The only fix I have found is to reboot. Any suggestions?
