How can I install macOS on MacBook Air using wired network, not Wi-Fi?

Hi I have a macbook air 2019 model a1932. I would like to reinstall the operating system,

I prepared an sd card with SOnoma.

When I turn on the Mac holding down the Option key the Sonoma icon appears on the screen,

if I select it then the system asks me to choose a wifi network but it seems that it does not work,

in fact I enter the password but the system checks forever (password is correct).

I would like to select the wired network instead, how can I do it?

or something similar to get you connected via ethernet cable to your router.
Connect the cable to the router before starting your Mac.

FWIW: That link is the USB-A to Ethernet dongle, not USB-C. Best case, it’ll need a second dongle to get from the MacBook Air 2019 USB-C ports to USB-A.

Before the dongle path, I’d try a NVRAM reset, and test the Wi-Fi again: Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

Oops! You are correct and I need to get food! 🙂

It should work with a A-C plug adapter.

Better yet, there's this Belkin USB-C Ethernet Adapter - Apple
