Why does the Health app count steps instantly on newer iPhone models?

Why it sent count the steps instantly ..it used to with earlier versions of iphone

iOS 16 Health App Search not working The search function in the health app does not produce any results. I get “no results for….” It doesn’t matter what I search for, even using exact terms like “heart rate”, “steps” etc yields nothing - despite there being sections and data in health for these. I believe the problem originally started back in iOS15 but had persisted until today. I’m on iOS 16.4.1 with an iPhone 11 Pro.
