Per Apple: The ability to measure Blood Oxygen is no longer available on Apple Watch units sold by Apple in the United States on or after January 18, 2024. These are indicated with part numbers ending in LW/A.

This includes no pulse oximetry in refurbished replacement watches, too.

Whether used within the US, or internationally, or interplanetary, no pulse oximetry on US-sourced Apple Watch.

And there’s also that the warranty and AppleCare coverage are at the discretion of Apple, too.

For your first question:

US Apple Watches don't have the Blood Oxygen app, as it has been removed due to lawsuits in the US. Versions from outside the US do have this feature.

For your second question:

Outside the country or region of purchase, you’ll have warranty coverage and any purchased AppleCare coverage at the discretion of Apple. You’ll also have no pulse oximetry.

Dialog's website states that US versions won't work with their "One Number" series.
