Flashlight and rear camera stopped working after iOS 18.5 on iPhone 14

After updating to iOS 18.5 my flashlight & rear camera stopped working completely. I have an iPhone 14

Please try a Forced Restart procedure, which should be done after each and every update.


  • Press and quickly release the Volume Up Button
  • Press and quickly release the Volume Down Button
  • Press and hold the Side Button until you see the Apple Logo


Be sure to perform the entire sequence rapidly and ignore the Power Off slider that appears midway, it can take up to 30 seconds to see the Apple Logo.

Then it may just be a hardware issue with the back camera. As a result, I suggest service at your nearest Apple Store Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
