My phone is an iPhone 16 pro max.
There are times where I will log on and the app closes and says to restart phone which I’ve done several times. Also if I watch a video sent I sometimes can’t close the video and have to close off the entire app because the screen is stuck on the video.
please help not sure how to rectify it - the app is updated.

Apple has nothing to do with WhatsApp. WhatsApp is owned and supported by Meta, who has released some of the buggiest apps out there. Some months, they have to release 8 - 10 updates just to fix their issues. Apple can't fix anything wrong with WhatsApp as they don't own the app, nor the code in the app. You need to let them know about the issues you're having with their application.
