How do I change the date and time for an entry in Apple Calendar?

if the date is 2025 05 31 and i now want to change the entry to 2025 06 16 The curser will not move off 2025. the time is the same issue

In the calendar window : Month view: Try dragging the entry from May 31 to 16th June. Then double click the entry to open it in a small window, where you can view / edit any details.
