Why can't I turn off Night mode in StandBy on my iPhone 15 Pro?

I have an iPhone 15 Pro. I want the Standby mode to display all night without entering Night Mode. I can't read the time when it's red and dark in my room. Why can't we shut that off? I had to download a clock from the App Store and use it. Are there any plans for Apple to unlock that option? The switch-off button is there, it's just not enabled when set to "Always on". I guess if they don’t, that will just be another feature that I won't use.

An iPhone 15 Pro should have a Settings options for controlling the behavior of Standby. In this Apple article:

Use StandBy to view information at a distance while iPhone is charging - Apple Support
