Can't see individual EZ Drummer 3 multichannel in Logic track header area

I can set up EZ Drummer multichannel outs in Logic channel strips, but why don't they appear in the track headers? All I get is the "Drums" track in that area.

Also, why doesn't the main Drums channel strip function like a normal track stack controller? I can pull it all the way down and the levels of the individual instruments don't change.

One last EZ Drummer question: is there a way to set it up to automatically start its individual outputs with 3-4 instead of 1-2? Logic uses 1-2 for the main Drum channel strip which means having to manually go back to reassign all the outs.
