Why does iTunes keep asking me to log in on Windows 11?

I am using itunes on a Windows 11 computer. About once or twice a week, I get a popup when I start itunes asking me to login to itunes? My computer setup and my itunes account and password have not changed for a few years. This is really annoying.

Yes, it is annoying. I get it too, even when logging into this forum. I have no idea why and each time I have to find my iPod in order to get the code it has sent to me.

You could send feedback to Apple about it: Product Feedback - Apple and look for iTunes under the heading Services (it's near the bottom of the page).
