How to enable app purchase approval for family members?

My family group consists of me (organiser), my wife (parent) and two children.

Whenever Roblox needs to update, I need to approve this via my phone. Is it possible for have this type of request (I believe it is classified as an app purchase) also to go to my wife, and if so, how do I enable this?

I have looked through the various family group settings but can’t figure it out.

If your wife is correctly set as a Parent/Guardian, then she should be getting the requests too. Check by going to:

Open the Settings app.
Tap Family, then tap your family member's name.
Tap Parent/Guardian.
Tap Set as Parent/Guardian.

If the request has been missed by your Wife, it should be seen in Messages. These 2 support articles may be helpful:

Thank you for this.

My wife is set as parent/guardian, so it isn’t that.

When my son goes to update Roblox, it asks for my appleid password on his IPad (it has to be put in physically on his screen). I’d imagine this is causing the issue - do you know what setting I have on that might be causing this?
