CD's made using Itunes will not allow the files to be ripped to another computer

I make music. I loaded 6 original songs onto Itunes in my IMac, named them and added all information. Then I burned them to a CD. Works and sounds great as expected. However, now I want to take this CD and rip one of the songs into a windows computer. The only thing I see is "track 01" @ 47kbs rather than the actual song at 62MBs. When I drag and drop to desktop I get a 1Kb image. Other "non Itunes" CD's rip as expected.

Any thoughts?

Thank you

Sounds like you created an audio CD, as such, dragging to the desktop will not rip the song out. Same as trying to drag a song from a commercial CD to the desktop.

In those cases, you need to rip the song like you would a commercial CD using iTunes or another application that can do so.

Dragging it to the Desktop is not ripping.

Unless you made a data CD with discreet files on it, you won't be able to drag it out like that.
