Why does Logic Pro trial still have the old Stem Splitter on my Mac mini M4?

I have a new (to me) Mac Mini M4, and want to trial Logic Pro, but the trial version doesn't have the updated Stem Splitter, still the older, four channel version. There are supposedly no restrictions or differences between the trial download and the paid version. I deleted and downloaded it again, still same issue.
