Despite deleting MANY photos and videos from my iPhone, I'm still receiving e-mail from Apple showing no change in the amount of iCloud space I have....why?

When you go to settings - your name - icloud - storage - what does it say?
Those repeated emails is probably spam.
It shows the same amount of space remaining as the amount shown in the e-mail.

Then buy more icloud storage to continue using icloud to sync or backup your data.
Why is iCloud storage not decreasing after deleting photos and videos?
