How do I remove a suspicious virus detection pop-up from Safari on my MacBook Pro?

I get a recurring pop up in the upper right corner of my Safari Browser, about every few minutes or so. It's from a site in India (or so I believe). I have never clicked on it, but it's very suspicious as it's reporting that 13 or more viruses have been detected, and my browser is infected. Has anyone else seen this, and how do I get rid of it? I'm using a MacBook Pro from 2019 (2.4 GHz 8 core Intel Core i9), with Sequoia 15.5. It's probably time to replace it, I know, but it isn't in the budget at this time. Here's a screenshot:

Thanks for your help!

Somewhere along the path, you were offered notifications by a website or ad, accepted those notifications, and now no longer wish to receive those notifications.

For how to remove these notifications, 6x6 is correct, above.

Here’s a more detailed writeup, as well as how to prevent websites and ads from ever offering these notifications again:

There is no malware here, and no viruses. Just advertising.
