email aliases not appearing when logging into apple account on new mac

Hi,

I have a new MBP which I have chosen not to use migration assistant.

I have logged in to iCloud. When I use "Apple Mail" only my primary Apple account email address is available.

All of my .mac and .me email addresses are not available.

If I log in to iCloud via a browser the .mac and .me are available. They are also still available in Mail on my old MBP.

How to I activate these. I have tried logging out and logging in to the Apple account.

thanks

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.5

Seems the "From" field in the compose window of the Mail app is populated from your own contact card in the "Contacts" app. Whatever email addresses and aliases you have listed on your contact card should appear.in a drop=down list for choosing.

If you haven't already: See how to: Set up your My Card in Contacts on Mac - Apple Support

(NB: Article also details how to make changes.)

To set a default "From" email address / "Reply to: /:email address in the Mail app:
