Shortly after I initiated the installation of iOS 18.5, I heard the voiceover speak! So, it went into voiceover mode on its own. When I tried to use the pad, I couldn’t get very far before the screen went black. Now over a week later, the pad is on, in voiceover and has a blank screen. I can’t successfully turn it all the way off as long as voiceover is on.

To disable VoiceOver on an iPad, navigate to Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver and toggle the feature off. Alternatively, you can use Siri to say "Turn off VoiceOver" or utilize the Accessibility Shortcut if you've configured it to do so. Triple-tapping the Home or Side button (depending on the iPad model) is another method, if you've enabled it as an Accessibility Shortcut.
The screen is black so navigating is out of the question. I tried navigating by tapping where I thought an icon was located. Nope.
I have Siri turned off.
BUT!! I was unaware of triple tapping the power button and guess what?? I THINK YOU FIXED IT!
Voice over turned off and the Home Screen came back! THANK YOU!
