iCloud for Windows: Locking PC Screen Causes Laptop Fan to Work Harder

This is a bizarre issue which I was able to resolve but hopefully be fixed.

I'm using Windows 11 Feature Pack 24H2 on my PC laptop.

When I lock the screen with nothing else running, the fan seems to be working harder.

Once I unlock the screen, after about 5 seconds, the fan goes back to normal.

I was able to resolve the issue by disabling all of the iCloud apps at PC startup.

(iCloud, iCloud Photos, iCloud Shared Albums, iCloud Keychain, and iCloud Drive).

Just wondering if there will be a fix for this.

BTW. If I go into iCloud post startup, the problem does not occur.

Windows, Windows 11 (26100)
