Distortion on speakers using Bluetooth and YouTube videos (MAC Mini 2020 with M1)

I'm getting distortion on Edifier speakers, a 2nd pair of Edifiers and one additional set of speakers when I'm using Bluetooth and YouTube videos. I've never had this issue with the same speakers over a few years until around May 13th. It coincided with an event where about 100 files, like JPEGs, were suspiously added to the Applications folder at the exact same time and day. To address the issue of the files being added somehow, I used Time Machine and re-installed the OS. That deleted the 100 files, but the next day I had more JPEGs added. I deleted them and took it into the local Apple Store. They used Malwarebytes to check the MAC and nothing was found. I've been up to the 3rd tier at Apple but I'm still getting distortion on the speakers. I can play internal videos with no issues. It is only when I use YouTube that I get a loud ticking noise after a period of time. I've checked all of the common issues, like having the speakers close and checked the wireless. The only other Bluetooth device is a headset, but I seldom use them.
