Why won't Apple Music radio stations play on my Xiaomi phone anymore?

Question

I have a Xiaomi phone with Apple Music on it (part of a family account).

Until a few weeks ago, I was able to use the radio on the app.

At some point, whenever I play a radio station, it shows how it's loading and then pauses.

Happens with every single station.

I have already:

I don't own any Apple devices that I could use.

I installed the app on my Windows 11 laptop and the radio worked fine.

The Apple Support couldn't help me more that what I did so far.

Any ideas?

Wondering which Apple Music app you have installed on the Xiaomi phone, and whether it is up-to-date.

Eg: says you can:

Seems that current app was "Updated on May 12, 2025"
