I'm running an M1 Mac mini with the most up to date version of Logic Pro X, but every time I throw stems into a session, I literally have to wait 10 minutes for it to create the waveform overviews. I'm not running other apps at the same time, and my Mac is not working hard at all, it's clearly a logic-specific issue given how fast my Mac is running in every other aspect. Any ideas?

Can you make sure you have enough Drive Space? I also think updating to the latest version of LP will help.
I know you are running LPX. Just make sure you are are running the latest version that you OS is compatible with.

How much space do you have overall? (250gb, 500gb?)
Can you unload unnecessary movies, docs, installation files, applications, etc.
I have 40gb free out of 256, surely that's PLENTY. The CPU is barely doing anything to run these sessions, so I can't really believe it's a disk-space issue. Any other thoughts?
