Recently been asked by a company to verify some very specific information about Apple Pay and cards I used for purchase . Never had issues with them before but it became very suspicious when I was emailed this morning to verify a card that I just added to my wallet and was not asked for the first 16 requests. Somehow they are able to view this and I feel my device is exposed to whatever software they are using, this is for gaming app that will not pay winnings until I have verified, mind you it’s not a fake one and have been aid by them several times in the past, what should I do?

Whoever is asking about Apple Pay information is either mistaken or a trying to pull a scam on you.

Apple Pay does not expose any personal information about cards added to the Wallet App, because there's none to be had from the Wallet App.

The Wallet App does not store you name, or card number or any other personal details . It only stores an encrypted package that only your bank can open and which contains a device account number that only your Bank has the ability to link to your account or. credit card with them. This package is not even accessible to Apple, much less a merchant or company you may have used Apple Pay with. They never see your details nor can they even see your actual card number.

All they get is the last 4 numbers of a device account number during a transaction.

Are you sure you used Apple Pay with this company?

Maybe you added your card to their website or directly in the App? In which case, they have all your details.
