Why can't my son and I track our husband using Family Sharing on iPhones?

Hi thank you for reading this .

My son has an iPhone 12mini and I have 11 pro . And husband has SE 2020 . Son and I can track each other . Husband can track us … but we can’t seem to track husband.

Ive tried everything . Pls help .
