OK if you are being pedantic...
That is not unexpected, it is a software command not an off switch. Your currently running software may take that long to lock the phone .

That is good advice from H1290, more simple way and eliminate a potential question is go into your settings, >scroll down to Display and Brightness > Auto-Lock > it will show you the time of the lock out and then if you want to change that, tap on that tab
hope I helped
Hello!
When this happens, are you near the iPhone at all? The iPhone has a proximity sensor which turns off the screen under certain circumstances when something is covering the screen (usually your face.)
Update the device to iOS 18.5, then force restart it. Report back the results.
Have a great day!

Maybe I didn't express my meaning correctly.
When I press the power button, it turns off with a delay.
Can you help me
When you go to: Settings > Accessibility > Side Button, what is selected under “Click Speed?” Make sure “Default” is selected. This is the only setting I can think of which could cause the delay.
When I press the power button, it turns off with a delay.
This is not unusual. This is not a problem.

Another word you can learn: Apophenia- a term used to describe the human behavior of finding meaning in instances where no such meaning exists.

That is not unexpected, it is a software command not an off switch. Your currently running software may take that long to shut down.
