iPhone not ringing while watching videos (FB, Instagram, YouTube)
Hey everyone,
Wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and found a real fix.
My iPhone doesn’t ring when I’m watching videos on Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube. It’ll sometimes ring once, then the call banner pops up and then silence. Been dealing with this since before Nov ’24.
I’ve gone through troubleshooting with Apple support multiple times. It’s always the same routine: “Let’s try this… maybe it’s your VPN… maybe it’s a focus mode…” At this point, it just feels like guesswork, not solutions. I feel like it’s a deeper issue on the software side, they always divert. I’ve even been told it will be fixed this next update. But it’s doesn’t happen
Anyone here actually fix this issue? I’m open to real advice, not another round of “try restarting or resetting or take it to get checked “. I have a recently new iPhone 14. And am running public up to date
