Unable to boot Windows 11 from an external SSD on MacBook

I have a problem. I am trying to boot windows 11 with an external ssd disk created with win to usb. The first time I managed to access recovery mode but when I tried to access the startup security utility it asked me to change the firmware password. I did it and restarted the mac (intel). Then when I tried to access recovery mode again the screen remained black. I tried several times with other combinations of commands and from the terminal but nothing happened.
