Why can’t my iPad connect to the App Store after switching Apple Accounts?

My App Store is not working as expected, it’s always saying
Cannot Connect
The page couldn't be loaded. Try again.
My husband gifted me this iPad a few days ago. He connected his Apple ID after buying to test the device. Then he created a new Apple ID for me. Now my Apple ID is connected with this iPad. But for some unknown reasons it’s cannot connect with App Store server. I need help to get it to work.
