How to stop iCloud pop-up on Windows

I installed the iCloud for Windows app and now it pops up frequently (can be seconds or a few minutes between Pop-Ups. I want to keep iCloud on Widows as I use both a PC and a MAC. Ideas, suggestions, or solutions will be greatly appreciated.
