iMessage on my laptop and Mac stopped receiving verification messages recently...

All of my devices are Apple and I keep them all updated with the latest versions the OS. A few weeks ago, iMessage on both my laptop and desktop randomly stopped receiving text message verifications, though I am still getting them on my phone and Apple Watch. I looked through the steps you've posted for other users and all my settings appear to correct -- MMS Messaging is turned on and Text Message Forwarding is set up for 3 devices (my iPad, iMac and MacBook Pro).

Any ideas why this happened suddenly? Is it a glitch with the latest update?
