CarPlay stopped showing notifications and running apps on iPhone after an update

I've never had any issues with using my apps on my iPhone while it was connected to Apple CarPlay, since purchasing the vehicle in February 2024. Recently, after one of the updates, my apps quit working while my iPhone 13 ProMax was connected to CarPlay. We tried my husbands iPhone on it & he didn't have any trouble with his. It's just my phone. I am a gig worker & depend on my phone for my job. I've been missing out on jobs, due to the fact that I'm not able to get notifications while in my car. If anyone has any suggestions on what to try, I would appreciate it.
