I have turned on Tabs in Finder>Settings>General and now I cant switch them off. I hate tabs and its driving me crazy. I hoped an update would fix it ans 15.5 came out tonight but it still wont stop.
Please can someone help?

Finally found the answer by changing my question in Google.
System Settings> Desktop & Dock> Windows> 'Prefer Tabs when opening documents' - switch to Never
That will tech me to press something just to see if I liked it, nearly drove me crazy lol
Try pressing Command + Option + T to toggle the tabs in Finder windows on and off. Hope that helps!
