Safari: Tab Group Favorites folders cannot be deleted — even when empty

Safari automatically creates “Tab Group Favorites” folders when favorites are added to a Tab Group. But even after the Tab Group is deleted and all contents are removed, these folders persist in the bookmarks sidebar with no option to delete them.

  • Right-clicking shows no “Delete” option
  • fn + Delete or other standard removal methods don’t work
  • Even empty folders clutter the interface permanently
  • Recreating and clearing the Tab Group again doesn’t help

This is poor user experience. It breaks expected folder behavior and creates permanent visual clutter that users can't clean up. If Apple insists on managing these folders automatically, at least let users delete them manually when they're no longer in use.

Please fix this — it’s basic, and it’s long overdue.
