Are Apple Pay transfer fees standard across banks?

I just switched banks. I used to get a 1-3 day free transfer but now I don’t have that option with my new bank. It only offers $3.95 for immediate transfer. I asked my bank and they said it is Apple that is making the fee. I’m confused.

You have to enter your bank account number and routing number in Apple Cash for the free bank transfer. If you attempt to use the Debit card, then your only option is the immediate transfer.

The fee Apple charges for immediate transfers is 1.5%, with a minimum amount of 25 cents to a maximum of $15. If you are seeing a different service fee, then that is coming from your bank that is charging you.

The path to enter your account information is as follows,

iPhone > Wallet app > Apple Cash card > More button (3 buttons in circle in upper right corner) > Card Details > scroll down > Bank Account > tap bank listed (probably your old bank account) > delete bank account information > you’ll be able to enter new information
