My iPhone 13 keeps going to SOS?

Ever since updating to 18.4 my iPhone 13 has difficulty receiving Verizon cell service and goes to SOS with no ability to text.

CONSTANT SOS Since updating (16.3.1) my iPhone 13, it is constantly in SOS mode. I can’t call out, I can’t receive texts. I use my phone for work so this is a big problem. Why is this happening and how can I fix this? I NEVER had service issues before.

why is my phone still saying “sos only”? my iphone says “sos only” at the rope acting like i have no service at all. i have tried to renew my data on my iphone but it never came through. i have powered my phone off and back on, force restarted it, taken the sim card out and put it back in, and nothing has worked. i can’t text other iphones even when i’m on wifi. it’s been like this for 16 hours. why is this happening and how can i fix it?

Update to iOS 18.5 and see if that helps. If not, contact your carrier as they may need to force a cellular update to your iPhone.
