How to view past competition point totals in Apple Fitness app?

I just completed a competition and went back to look at the points to see how close I was to winning and all I can see is that the other person won. I researched and multiple people asked for this to be changed. Why hasn’t Apple changed it so we can see his historical competition results?

Hi there,

Great question — and you're definitely not alone in wanting to see detailed competition results after they’ve ended. Many users have raised this exact concern over the years, asking Apple to improve visibility into historical competition data, such as total points earned by each participant or a breakdown of daily scores.

As of now, Apple has not implemented this feature, and they haven’t publicly stated why. It could be due to a combination of factors, including:

  • A design focus on live engagement rather than historical analysis,
  • Privacy considerations related to sharing detailed fitness data,
  • Or simply low prioritisation compared to other requested features.

That said, the more users who request it, the more likely it is to be considered. I’d recommend submitting feedback directly via the Apple Feedback portal:

Product Feedback - Apple

In the meantime, some people take screenshots during or right before the competition ends to manually track results, though I know that’s not ideal.

Hopefully, Apple gives this feature a second look in future watchOS or Fitness+ updates!

Best,

Oliver
