Finder - I don't want to see Date Added

Hello,

I don't know when this changed, BUT I now see Date Added, Date Modified, Date Created. I really don't care when a file was added or created. I really only want to see date modified for ALL of my files. I did find this little "show view" area, but even when I click Use as Defaults, it doesn't change it for all folders. I have to go in and do every single file/subfolder, etc.

What am I missing? :). I'm on Sonoma 14.6.1 (23G93)

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.6

Each folder that you have opened before will retain the settings it had.

Defaults apply to new folders.

But when you have a window already open in List View, and navigate to other folders in the same window, then of course columns do not change; just follow Yer_Man's advice and choose the columns you want.
