How do I prevent iCloud Photos from syncing to my C drive on Windows?
iCloud Photos are stored in the iCloud and on my C:\ drive. My C:\ drive is the same drive my OS is on. I have 250 GB of storage in the cloud. Right now, I'm currently using over 200 GB which is also being saved or synchronized to my C:\ drive. My C:\ drive is only 257 GB. I cannot keep all these photos and videos on my C:\ drive. I have another local drive, it's my D:\ drive, it's not an external drive. My D: drive is 2 TB. I have plenty of room to store them here.
I uninstalled iCloud from my PC and then reinstalled it hoping it would give me an option to change the drive location, but it did not.
I'm frustrated with Apple causing all my files to clog up my OS drive to save all my files. It causes my PC to use up too much memory and it gets sluggish. I would like all my files saved in iCloud and not on my PC. If I can't quit saving all my photos and videos on my C:\ drive, what options do I have?
Thank you!
