Not sure if it has been only since last update or not, but I am now seeing only a little rectangle with a line and 2/3 of a line underneath it on the far left side of the address bar and am not seeing the padlock icon on most (any?) sites where I would usually have one.
This includes sites where I regularly do business and our bank website as well. What's up with this?

Apple removed the lock. If desired, choose Connection Security Details from the Safari menu.

Yes, using Safari. Thanks, I had no idea the CSD thing existed. Do you know what the reason was for removing the lock? Sure seems simpler.
