How do I recover a missing note on iPhone?

I had my notepad open on my phone. it was already on an open note and when my phone turned off and then when i unlocked it again it was gone. like straight up snatched from existence. its not in deleted recently and i know i had it because ive using it for months. when i search for it nothing comes up. vanished without a trace
