Record in Logic Pro using loops with Launchpad

I've got 45 or so drum loops set up on Launchpad pads triggering a Custom Drum Set.. I want to record a piece triggering lops and recording tracks on a keyboard MIDI controller. When I set the Custom Drum Set to record, nothing happens except I get an empty track. I'm presuming I'm supposed to be doing some sort of live bounce but how?

Recording my KORG minilogue xd in Logic Pro Hey guys, So I'm still pretty new to Logic and am struggling to record from my new KORG minilogue. The track is for a software instrument, I've selected 'use external instrument plug-in', and selected the correct input. It's all connected, interface is all set up, and I can hear it through my laptop perfectly, but when I actually click record, it doesn't record anything. After watching a few videos, it looks like the issue could be that when I click on the instrument and select 'MIDI destination', the only option is 'Logic Pro Virtual Out', whereas the tutorials say there should be options with the minilogue title. What can I do to fix this?

Logic Pro X automatically muting audio tracks Recorded audio tracks in Logic Pro X are automatically muting every time I hit play, record, or switch selected tracks. This can happen to multiple recorded audio tracks at once, and it makes playing back anything impossible. I'm not messing with any automation, I'm simply recording audio as I always have, and Logic is toggling the mute button. The wave form is there, and I am able to play it back by itself after messing around a while, but I can't do any other work without it muting itself again. I am able to manually unmute the track, but it automatically mutes itself again each time I go to do something. This does not happen with MIDI tracks, and it doesn't happen with every audio track either, but there are consistently a few tracks every project that have the issue. The only way to currently hear everything together is to unmute everything and bounce the track before doing anything so the tracks can't mute themselves. I know there has to be a better solution.

Cannot slip individual audio track to correct phase in FCP When recording talent using multiple microphones at different distances, audio is out of phase. This project used a lav on the talent's chest and a shotgun overhead: FCP does not allow a user to slip an individual audio track to correct phase, neither while attached nor detached from the video clip. While attached, audio tracks will not slip independently of the video clip. But even when detached, each audio track won't slip independently of each other. My current workaround is to insert the clip into the timeline three times; once as a video clip alone, and then once for each audio track. I can then create a compound clip and slip each standalone audio clip within the compound to match phase. If there are any Apple engineers on this thread, PLEASE fix this issue! Being able to slip a single audio track within a clip would save me hours of inserting detaching unselecting audio tracks re-inserting clips unselecting audio tracks re-selecting audio tracks and grouping ...every single clip in my production.

I believe you are talking about triggering samples using Live Loops in Logic Pro.

Click on the button below and Logic will "Enable Performance Recording".

As soon as you start recording (Key Command: r) Logic will start capturing your performance in the Tracks area.
