Voice Over facility in Final Cut Pro Not Working Again!l

Nobody seemed to have any workable suggestions last time so here's the obvious answer under the circumstances.

Download the free app Audacity and do your voiceovers on that.

It is far superior to anything in FCP and is used by millions. The only downside is that the audio files you create will then have to be imported into FCP taking a few more seconds.

What audio interface are you using?

Is it showing up in System Settings when FCP doesn't recognize it?
