Posts are intended to stay indefinitely, so that the relevancy of the forum is increased through search by others.
You agreed to giving the post content to Apple, to do as they see fit, through the sign-up agreement.
If you have a correction to your own post, then you may edit in the first 15 minutes or so, through the pencil icon.
If you have an addition, then you may reply to your own post with additional information.
If you solved any issue yourself without forum aid, the you can let other readers know of your solution in a reply.
If any part of your post contains objectionable details, then forum moderators can make edits; on request if needed.
