Is there any way to lock screen horizontally while watching YouTube on Safari

Screen turning automatically vertical and horizontal. It's so annoying. iPhone 15 / 18.4.1

Yahoo News Slides Make IPhone Screen Slide Since iOS 17, when I try to swipe between the 8 slides at the top of the Yahoo page, the entire screen slides horizontally so the slides are half off the screen. I have to swipe the other way to move them back to center and try again. It’s like the horizontal screen locking function doesn’t exist. Did iOS 17 muck that up too?

ios 17 safari When playing a video, you cannot directly slide the screen to fast forward or rewind the video. When I watch a video in iOS 16 using Safari, I can swipe the screen with my finger to fast forward or rewind the video. However, after I upgraded to iOS 17, this operation was removed, and now the direct swipe screen operation when watching videos has changed to exit full screen. I don't understand why this is, I really need to directly swipe the screen to fast forward when watching videos. Rewind the operation, thank you!

You can lock screen rotation from control center.
