iMessage Issue with only one contact - Contact can receive and react, but not send a response.
I am having an issue with only one contact, the most important - my wife haha. Here is what is happening and it has me totally lost.
My wife is able to receive my messages and react to them. I receive the reaction on my end and as she is attempting to reply, I see typing indicators. However, her response is never delivered to my device. She has no other issues with iMessage and other contacts, and neither do I. I have tried to remove the chat and contact and add again and same issue occurs.
An additional detail that might help - when she uses any other Apple device - iMac/Macbook/iPad - she is able to respond to my message. The issue only occurs with iPhone. She has an iPhone 16 PM running the latest update.
Another additional detail that might help - if I create a contact with her phone number and another contact with her email and then create a group chat with the two contacts, she can receive and respond flawlessly.
I am at a total loss. Any advice?
